Biography
Paul Leandri, PsyD
Dr. Paul Leandri is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked with all ages across several multidisciplinary settings utilizing evidence-based approaches. Dr. Leandri earned his doctorate from the Clinical Psychology program at Antioch University New England. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT and post-doctoral fellowship with Riverbend Community Mental Health in NH. He also trained at the Brown University Center for the Study of Children at Risk.
Dr. Leandri has specialized training and experience in cognitive-behavioral therapies, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Trauma-Focused CBT for the treatment of trauma-related stress in youth. He is certified by the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) in Exposure/Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. He has extensive training in neuropsychological assessment, Integrated Primary Care/Primary Care Behavioral Health, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and brief psychodynamic therapy.
Dr. Leandri works with individuals experiencing all forms of anxiety, depression, and trauma-related difficulties across the lifespan. He utilizes mindfulness and acceptance-based CBTs contextually and functionally depending on each person’s unique needs. Dr. Leandri is a current member of ACBS and IOCDF.
