Biography 

Eliza Polli, PsyD


Dr. Eliza Polli earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA, in 2020. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pennsylvania. There, she broadened her clinical skills through a generalist program of geropsychological training, neuropsychological assessment, primary care psychology, and outpatient therapy. Dr. Polli joined Hanover CBT in 2020 as a Postdoctoral Fellow and has since become a licensed Clinical Psychologist.

Dr. Polli has extensive training in empirically-supported treatments, including mindfulness and acceptance-based CBTs for treating anxiety, depression, and trauma. In particular, Dr. Polli specializes in treating adults with difficulties related to anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, aging or retirement, caregiver stress, grief/bereavement, medical conditions, and insomnia. She has specialty training in health psychology, working with clients with comorbid medical conditions.


Prior to her career in psychology, Dr. Polli attended Swarthmore College and played varsity basketball. She continues to play and coach basketball, valuing the role of fitness and athletics in a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Polli practices within a culturally competent framework, promoting equality and client empowerment in the therapeutic relationship. She strongly believes that the client knows themself best and she sees her role as a guide toward self-discovery and acceptance.
