Biography
David Bradley, PhD
Dr. David Bradley earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Cleveland VA Medical Center and his post-doctoral fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Before earning his Ph.D., Dr. Bradley attended Boston College completing a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in mental health counseling, including a year-long internship at McLean Hospital’s OCD Institute. As an assistant professor at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, Dr. Bradley taught and mentored clinical psychology graduate students before returning to New England to focus on full-time clinical work. He currently teaches as an adjunct professor at Rivier University’s Psy.D. program. He also serves as vice president of OCD New Hampshire and regularly provides trainings in the community on providing evidence-based treatment for OCD.
Dr. Bradley has extensive training in empirically supported treatments for anxiety and related disorders in adults of all ages. He has received specialized training in exposure and response prevention (ERP) for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Additionally, he has received training and certifications in providing cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) and prolonged exposure (PE).
Dr. Bradley also treats other mental health problems using cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapy, and exposure-based techniques, including generalized anxiety, health anxiety, panic attacks, trichotillomania, excoriation/skin-picking, obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, phobias, and depression.
Dr. Bradley respects the courage it takes to begin therapy. Through collaborative relationships, he helps clients identify their challenges and unique strengths to overcome obstacles. Dr. Bradley adapts potent, evidence-based techniques to fit each client's needs in order to promote growth, self-understanding, and healing.
